Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189)
A permanent residence visa for skilled workers who are not sponsored by an employer, state or territory government, or family member. Points-tested and invite-only via SkillSelect.

Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190)
A permanent residence visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. Points-tested with an additional 5 points for state nomination.

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 491)
A 5-year provisional visa for skilled workers nominated by a state/territory or sponsored by an eligible family member to live and work in regional Australia.

Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485)
Allows international students who have recently graduated from an Australian institution to live, study, and work in Australia on a temporary basis. Has two streams: Graduate Work and Post-Study Work.

Allows people to participate in workplace-based training to improve their occupational skills in their current occupation, or undertake occupational training to obtain registration or licensing.

Enables Australian employers to address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers where no suitable Australians are available. Covers Short-term, Medium-term, and Labour Agreement streams.

Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417)
Allows young adults from eligible countries to have an extended holiday in Australia, during which they can work to supplement their travel funds. Must be from an eligible passport country.

Lets you visit Australia temporarily for tourism or business purposes. Covers the Tourist stream, Business Visitor stream, Sponsored Family stream, and Approved Destination Status stream.
